Members of the FORCE team travelled to Bangkok to publicise the FORCE project to
delegates at the 22nd World Congress of the ISRRT in Bangkok.

As well as delivering three separate presentations in conference sessions addressing aspects
of the FORCE Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), we hosted an exhibition booth with hands
on workstations to showcase the VLE to radiographers at the Congress. Over 100 delegates
visited the FORCE exhibition booth, engaging with the case simulations and signing up to be
kept updated on the full project launch.

The FORCE team representatives were able to discuss the project with participants, and
gather information about interested parties. The process of offering one to one sessions
with the case simulations was information gathering for us in preparation for developing
user guidelines. We noted where the Virtual Learning Environment was used intuitively and
where participants might benefit from more detailed instruction.

As well as representation from European countries, this Multiplier Event disseminated the
project and FORCE VLE to Radiographers and Radiography Societies across the Americas,
Australia, Asia, India and Africa. The level of global interest in the project resources as a tool
for both student education and continuous professional development for practising
radiographers was not anticipated but very positively received.
