The FORCE team met online for a kick-off meeting to introduce the local project leads and to
develop a detailed plan for development, management and administration activities.

A project management board was agreed comprising the Academic Lead in each university
plus one other nominee. Project management software was reviewed and agreed. Budget
processes and record keeping were clarified and agreed.

Work package activity was discussed with teams and timelines to be developed in each
centre. First steps were agreed to focus on infrastructure (VLE and web hosting), and Patient
Stories in order to have a good framework for all WP teams to have as reference points.

Ethical considerations for the whole project were discussed and a plan put in place for
seeking ethical approval. Branding in the form of a logo and document templates and a
consistent brand appearance through all of our learning materials and conference
presentations was agreed.
